Below I've compiled a collection of links to download IRC clients that you can try. I'll let you make up your own mind
as to which one you like best. If you are aware of clients that aren't on this list feel free to drop me a line either on

This is the standard version of mIRC. It does not have the speech feature of mIRC With Speech.
however, it is a good choice for sited folks and blind people who don't want the speech feature.
This client was written by yours truely, TheIceMaster. it was also designed to interface directly to JAWS or Window-Eyes.
Please keep in mind that if you choose to download and try this one that it is beta software so is not garenteed to be bug
proof. I have however, tried to make it as stable as possible.
It is currently a one server/channel at a time client, but I will be adding functionality for multiple servers/channels in
future versions.
